HERE ARE OUR GUIDELINES & POLICIES:

 

We buy Vinyl Records (LP’s), CD's DVD’s, Blu-rays & 4K's. You can sell us any of these items and get cash or up to 30% more in store credit depending on the strength of your items.  

 

As long as the store is open during business hours, there is someone who will look at your items. We also make house calls by appointment; no collection is too big for us to consider buying. 

 

HOW WE BUY

We will look at any collection. We buy titles that we believe our customers will want. Titles that are extremely common and not sought after will be less interesting to us. Classic and rare titles are most desirable and will have the most value. Since desirability is constantly changing, so does the value of different genres and titles, so please note that these are merely guidelines.

 

The TWO most important factors in determining what we buy is the TITLE & CONDITION of your Vinyl LP’s, CD’s, DVD’s, Blu-rays & 4K's:

 

TITLES

 

LP’s 

Genres we look for include, but are not limited to, Rock (including Rockabilly, Punk, New Wave, Psych, Prog, Heavy Metal), Classic Jazz (50’s-70’s), Vintage Country, Soul, Blues, Reggae, Exotica, Strange/Obscure and Soundtracks.

 

CD’s

Same guidelines as LP’s.

 

DVD's/BLU-RAYs/4K's

Classic Titles, in Film and Television, as well as Foreign, Unusual, Out-of-Print or Special Editions (i.e. Criterion Collection).

 

CONDITION

Condition is very important. The more scratched your LP’s, CD’s, DVD’s, Blu-rays, 4K's are, (even if they still play), the less valuable they are to us. CD’s, DVD’s, Blu-rays, 4K's must have cover art included with the discs or we will not buy them. 

 

HOW WE PAY

These are guidelines based on the average price we pay for most titles. Exceptions to the average include obscure, rare, out-of-print or special edition titles. For these we pay competitively.

 

LP's: On average, we pay 25¢ - $8.00.

CD’s: On average, we pay 25¢ - $5.00.

DVD's: On average, we pay $1.00 - $5.00

Blu-rays & 4K's: On average, we pay $1.00 - $5.00

 

COLLECTIBLE/RARE ITEMS

If an LP, CD, DVD, Blu-ray or 4K is rare or collectible, we will of course pay accordingly. For example, if we plan to sell an LP for $100.00, we will pay $50.00 for it in cash or up to 30% more in credit. 

 

FINDERS FEE POLICY

Atomic Records has a finders fee policy. If you refer us to a collection of LP’s, CD’s, DVD’s, Blu-ray's and/or 4K's that we end up buying, you will receive a finders fee. Our finders fee is 10% of what we pay for the collection however, percentage can vary depending on the strength of the collection.

 

PLEASE NOTE: As required by law, you need to be 18 years of age or older and have Valid I.D. in order to sell your Vinyl LP’s, CD’s, DVD’s, Blu-rays & 4K's 

to Atomic Records.
